Long before there was a company, there were mornings I didn't feel like moving.

At 15, I rode my bike 30 miles to work, rain or not, because there was no one else to get me there. On the hardest mornings, the choice was simple: feel sorry for myself, or get on the bike.

So I got on the bike. Somewhere on those long rides, I started talking to myself: I didn't know it then, but those two words would carry me through everything that came after.

I rebuilt my life, and learned firsthand how much your mindset shapes your energy.

After years spent building a business and a family, I went through a season of starting over almost completely — new routines, new income, new sense of who I was. It taught me something I now build every product around: your mental state and your physical energy aren't separate things.

During that season I came across liposomal BHB ketones, at first just looking for something to help me think clearly again. What I noticed surprised me: for the first time in years, I could function through the noise instead of being consumed by it.

I didn't fully understand the science yet. I just knew something was different, so I did what I always do when something matters: I went all in on understanding it.
